Jan Smith

LRM’s senior designer has a proven commitment to the company’s success. Jan has an AA degree in Interior Design and has 6 yrs of experience in the design field. Before becoming a designer, Jan experienced a diverse range of opportunities and careers from flying single engine airplanes, to being a 5 Star Resort service administrator. Jan has the ability to oversee projects from not only the creative side, but the analytical side, also. This enables Jan to see the “big picture” and coordinate a project efficiently as well aesthetically. Jan lives in Laguna Niguel with her husband Troy and their two dogs, Bishop and Bailey.

Jan’s Design Philosophy: “Design is in the details, the smallest things make the biggest difference.”

Kari Seydewitz

Kari is a Southern California woman at heart.  She grew up constantly involving herself in creative activities: from dance, to fashion design, to cosmetology; Kari was seeking her artistic voice. Upon attending the Interior Designer’s Institute of Newport Beach, she found her passion in interior design and received a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree.

Kari loves the entire process of design.  She enjoys meeting and getting to know each client, choosing furnishings and fabric that suit that client’s specific wants and needs, seeing the final product, and seeing her clients enjoy their new environments.  Whether it’s just one room or an entire home, she enjoys being a part of the design process from beginning to end!

April Liewer

April brings over 5 years of Interior Design Administration to our firm.  She is originally from California but has traveled the globe, visiting the majority of the world's continents before she was 25.  In 2005 April earned her BA from BIOLA University.  There she not only met and married her husband, Evan, but also came to see that her talents reside in administration, organization, and management. April's attention to detail and ability to problem solve ensure that our client's homes, furniture, accessories, and accounts are handled with the highest quality care and consideration.

April’s Design Philosophy: "Accounting is strictly black and white, but we shouldn't limit design to these colors."

Ira Rosenbaum

Ira is originally from Brooklyn, moving to California shortly after his marriage to Lenore, his wife of 48 years.  Ira holds his BA in Aeronautical Engineering from Penn State and Graduate level courses in Business Management.  After 42 years as a Rocket Scientist, managing a 1500 person product division Ira finds working in the Interior Design Industry refreshing.  With his extensive personnel and financial management background Ira is uniquely equipped to manage the overall business process and financials of the firm.

Ira’s Design Philosophy: “Design is not Rocket Science, it’s much more difficult!” (We love Ira’s sense of humor!)

Kris Rusert

Kris Rusert grew up on the beaches of Southern California and is the newest member of the Lisa Rachelle McDennon Interior Design team. She has worked with some of the top Orange County Interior Designers and comes to LRM with over three years of project management experience. After earning her bachelor’s degree at the University of Colorado at Boulder, Kristen continued her education back in California at the Interior Design Institute of Newport Beach.

Kris’ Design Philosophy: “I want to create a space that is comfortable yet functional while paying attention to the details that make a house a home.”
